    Reporting to the Robertson Center team, the Public Affairs Digital Storyteller Associate must be prepared to handle the following:

    Responsibilities

    • Generate and produce digital content for multiples channels including website, social media and newsletters
    • Generate and produce creative and engaging social media content that aligns with the brand's identity and goals including but not limited to: reels, YouTube videos, graphics, website collateral, and broader brand assets
    • Measure and monitor traffic and engagement, adjusting content accordingly to expand followership and reach
    • Develop and draft internal and external communications, including emails, presentations, and general information materials, ensuring that strong positive messaging is conveyed to all community members
    • Stay up-to-date with social media trends, challenges, and features to ensure content remains relevant and appealing

    Knowledge and Skills

    • In-depth knowledge of social media trends, features, and best practices
    • Proficient in video taking as well as editing tools and apps
    • Strong understanding of social media marketing and content strategy
    • Must have the ability to meet tight deadlines; be resourceful and attentive to detail and accuracy, while ensuring timeliness and excellence of all events from conception to completion
    • Flexible and proactive approach to projects; ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
    • Proven experience as a social media creator with a strong portfolio of engaging and successful content
    • Knowledge of and experience working in education is a plus
    • Ability to foster productive relationships with school and network-based teams, vendors, and other constituents
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; confidence in communicating across a wide variety of platforms, including digital, written, and in-person presentations
    • Strong analytical, research, and organization skills
    • Graphic design capabilities a strong plus

    Qualified Applicants

    Our ideal Public Affairs Digital Storyteller Associate has 1 to 3 years of experience in any marketing, design, or creative positions. A commitment to improving public education and ensuring all students have access to a high-quality school, a can-do attitude, a sophisticated writing style, a keen eye for detail, and a good sense of humor are critical. S/he must be flexible and comfortable in an entrepreneurial, fast-paced environment.

    Compensation Range

    Annual Salary: $58,500.00 - $68,000.00

    Exact compensation may vary based on skills and experience.
