Job Description
Success Academy’s Public Affairs team works to advance K-12 public education reform and policies that support charter schools and student achievement both locally and nationally. Working with our parent communities to engage their elected officials, we advocate to ensure that NYC public charter schools have equitable resources to remain strong and continue to deliver the high-quality education children need to achieve their dreams. We now need a results-driven Lead of Advocacy to join our Public Affairs team.
Reporting to the Head of Advocacy, the Lead, Advocacy will play a critical role in the success of SA’s school-based elected engagement and parent advocacy program. This position works collaboratively with a small team of grassroots associates and helps set the goals, communications, and logistics for all advocacy-related initiatives with the overall goal of expanding access to charter schools and parent choice.
